What You’ll Do:

 

In your role as an Administrative Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Executive Leadership Team of the Command at NAWCTSD, Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision while handling sensitive information in a professional and secure manner. This position supports both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.


This position is covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA) and is classified as an SCA non-exempt role. Pay and benefits will be provided in accordance with the applicable wage determination.    

  • Provide administrative support, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and internal/external communications.
  • Maintain and update filing systems, databases, organizational charts, and distribution/contact lists.
  • Draft, edit, and format reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, agendas, and presentations.
  • Support planning and execution of meetings, events, and briefings; manage logistics, take minutes, and track action items.
  • Assist with document management, including uploading final documentation (e.g., I-Plan) and tracking.
  • Manage office supply inventory and equipment orders, track usage and budget adherence.
  • Facilitate travel arrangements, review travel vouchers, and ensure schedule alignment.
  • Liaise with security personnel to coordinate base access, passes, and meeting clearance requirements.
  • Route calls, emails, and customer inquiries to the appropriate departments; handle escalations as needed.
  • Perform additional administrative and project-based tasks as assigned.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 3 years of administrative support experience is preferred.
  • Experience supporting government or DoD programs is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and SharePoint.

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.

Salary Range:

  • This position is covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA) and is classified as an SCA non-exempt role with an hourly rate of $32.89. Pay and benefits are provided in accordance with the applicable wage determination.
