About You

You're a strategic, hands-on content marketer who can turn business priorities, audience needs, and go-to-market direction into clear messaging and useful marketing assets. You enjoy building content that supports pipeline, adoption, brand visibility, and sales conversations. You are comfortable working across channels, coordinating input from stakeholders, and keeping content moving from idea to delivery-ready handoff.

You:

  • Think strategically about audience, message, channel, business goals, and how AI-assisted approaches can improve content effectiveness, discoverability, and execution efficiency before drafting.
  • Write clear, useful content that helps customers, prospects, sales teams, and market-facing teams understand value.
  • Care about brand consistency while adapting content for different markets, audiences, and formats.
  • Understand how SEO, AEO, GEO, and content discoverability influence how audiences search, learn, and make decisions.
  • Are organized enough to manage briefs, timelines, review cycles, owners, due dates, and next actions.
  • Enjoy improving existing content through refreshes, repurposing, optimization, and better workflows.
  • Bring education-sector insight, or an interest in learning how education, workforce development, CTE, curriculum, and learning-focused environments shape the audiences this role supports.

Your Impact

As a Senior Marketing Content Specialist, you'll play a key role in creating, coordinating, and preparing marketing content that supports product positioning, campaign execution, market education, sales enablement, and brand visibility. This role owns market-facing content created to sell, position, promote, and support adoption, while partnering closely with Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Product Design, conferences, and other stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop multi-channel content plans and campaign messaging that translate marketing leadership direction into executable content strategies, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Write and refine marketing emails, value proposition collateral, classroom implementation collateral, blogs, social media copy, webinar content, conference presentations, campaign messaging, and sales enablement assets.
  • Create content that supports clear, coordinated market conversations across priority audiences and ecosystems, including CTE, workforce development, small business, and government cybersecurity.
  • Improve marketing content discoverability through SEO-, AEO-, and GEO-informed recommendations, updates, topic alignment, and optimization workflows.
  • Evaluate and apply emerging AI-enabled content, search, and optimization practices that support marketing performance and audience engagement.
  • Author sales and business development enablement content that connects customer pain points, use cases, outcomes, differentiators, and proof points.
  • Refresh and repurpose existing content across formats, audiences, channels, and use cases so high-value assets remain current, useful, and easier to reuse.
  • Coordinate content review and delivery workflows so assets move from brief to approved or delivery-ready state with clear ownership, timely input, accuracy, and brand alignment.
  • Partner with Marketing Leadership, Sales, Business Development, Graphic Design, Product Design, Conference stakeholders, and presenters to keep content aligned and      moving.

Your work will help K2United create clearer market conversations, stronger sales enablement, more discoverable brand content, and a more proactive content engine across its customer-facing brands.

Requirements

  • Experience creating marketing content across multiple channels, including campaigns, collateral, blogs, email, social media, presentations, webinars, and sales enablement materials.
  • Strong writing, editing, messaging, and content-structuring skills for external, market-facing audiences.
  • Ability to translate high-level strategy, business priorities, audience needs, and go-to-market direction into clear content plans and deliverables.
  • Working knowledge of content discoverability practices, including SEO and emerging AI/search-informed approaches such as AEO and GEO.
  • Ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs critically, validate accuracy, protect sensitive information, and apply appropriate human judgment before publication or distribution.
  • Experience developing value proposition messaging, differentiators, proof points, and audience-specific positioning.
  • Strong project coordination skills, including the ability to manage content briefs, review workflows, stakeholder input, timelines, due dates, and delivery-ready handoffs.
  • Ability to collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Product Design, Graphic Design, conferences, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfort using or learning tools such as Jira, Confluence, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365, Hootsuite, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Google Analytics, and approved AI tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, brand alignment, and content quality.
  • Ability to distinguish marketing and sales enablement content from product, technical, course, campus, and support content.
