We are seeking a Finishing Operator to perform essential finishing, inspection, and assembly tasks. What You’ll Do (Essential Duties)
- Production & Execution: Complete manual finishing and assembly tasks as assigned by your department lead or supervisor using standard work methods.
- Quality Control & Inspection: Carefully inspect components for surface quality, color consistency, profile appearance, and exact dimensions. Utilize item spec sheets to verify accuracy and immediately flag quality variances to leadership.
- Shift Documentation: Maintain clear, precise, and timely production and finishing paperwork throughout your shift.
- Proactive Planning: Coordinate ahead of time with material handlers regarding upcoming production runs, required materials, and necessary line changeovers.
- 5S & Workplace Organization: Champion clean and organized production lines by following daily housekeeping and 5S protocols, including the correct labeling and sorting of scrap gaylords and barrels.
- Continuous Improvement: Bring a positive, proactive attitude to the team to help make production processes safer, more efficient, and more streamlined.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For (Requirements)
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
- Core Strengths: A positive attitude, excellent dependability (being here every single day), the ability to be a great teammate, and strong multi-tasking skills.
Physical Demands & Safety Requirements
- Must be able to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand in one place and perform continuous, repetitive physical movements for the duration of a standard work shift.
- Safety is Always First: Approved safety glasses, hearing protection, and closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times while on the production floor.
Salary Description
$17.00 ($16 plus $1 shift premium)
