Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America (SBA) is the largest pro-life political organization in the nation, mobilizing a nationwide network of more than one million Americans. SBA seeks a strategic, experienced, and mission-driven Political Director to lead the organization’s candidate engagement, endorsement, and training efforts. This role will play a critical part in building and sustaining relationships with candidates, party committees, and aligned organizations, while equipping pro-life candidates to effectively communicate and win.
Essential Duties:
- Lead Candidate Endorsements: Oversee the SBA Candidate Fund endorsement process, including candidate recruitment, interviews, and vetting
- Cultivate Candidate Relationships: Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with endorsed candidates; provide strategic support throughout the campaign cycle
- Manage External Partnerships: Serve as the primary liaison to party committees and political staff at aligned organizations
- Drive Candidate Training: Develop and execute training programs to equip pro-life candidates with winning messaging and campaign strategies
- Oversee Political Budgeting: Manage PAC budget planning and execution
- Coordinate Messaging: Collaborate with the Communications team to amplify endorsed candidates and advance effective, pro-life political messaging

Position Type & Work Schedule
This is a full-time position. The position requires occasional work outside of normal office hours.
Supervisory Requirements
Position will supervise a full-time political researcher and writer.
Travel Requirements
Travel in and around the Washington, DC area is required. Occasional political travel outside of Washington, DC is required.
