POSITION SUMMARY

The Operations Manager leads and expands our Oil & Gas Automation. This role is responsible for driving revenue by identifying and securing new clients, while nurturing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. You’ll oversee all field operations—ensuring cost-effective, safe service delivery—by implementing best practices, optimizing processes, and coordinating with warehouse, purchasing, EHS, and Accounts Receivable teams to meet client requirements and resolve billing or operational issues.

As a strategic leader, you will recruit, train, and mentor field staff, develop operational objectives with your team, and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Frequent travel to client sites is required to conduct facility walkthroughs, verify inventory accuracy, and support service delivery excellence.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate revenue by finding new customers to provide automation and measurement services, calibrations, and new construction. 
  • Maintain relationships with current and new Oil and Gas Automation and Chemical injection customers.
  • Ensure all operations are conducted in an appropriate cost-effective and safe manner. 
  • Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Communicate with warehouse and purchasing departments to ensure clients’ needs are met. 
  • Ensure business is conducted following all local, state, and federal laws. 
  • Work closely with EHS manager to ensure employee certificates and required safety training are up to date and meet BLS and client requirements. 
  • Ensure MSA’s are signed, filed, and documentation is completed with any new clients.
  • Formulate strategic operational objectives and include direct reports in the planning process.
  • Work with HR to recruit, hire, train, and supervise direct reports.
  • Seek out new opportunities to improve quality and customer service.
  • Complete facility walk throughs to verify all inventory parts are accounted for and invoiced. 
  • Work with Accounts Receivable to ensure correct and timely billing of parts and labor according to client guidelines – address any invoice discrepancies immediately working with Accounts Receivable to correct.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
