Now Hiring: HIM Manager | Lead a High-Impact Health Information Team
We’re seeking an experienced Health Information Management (HIM) Manager to lead a critical function responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and availability of patient health information across an acute care environment.
This is a leadership opportunity for a hands-on HIM professional who thrives in operational excellence, team development, and compliance-driven healthcare settings.
In this role, you’ll oversee core HIM functions including:
- Medical record management
- Release of Information (ROI)
- Document imaging & record completion
- Physician deficiency tracking
- Data integrity & regulatory compliance
You’ll also lead and develop a dedicated HIM team, partnering closely with clinical and administrative leaders to ensure health information is complete, accurate, and accessible in support of patient care and organizational performance.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in HIM, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive HIM experience
- 2+ years of supervisory/management experience in HIM operations
- Strong acute care hospital HIM experience preferred
- Proven experience with ROI, imaging/scanning, record completion, and compliance
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive operational results
Certifications Required
- RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator) or
- RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) – AHIMA certified
