We’re seeking a Market Strategy Manager to play a critical role in advancing RS Medical’s mission by driving strategic growth across workers’ compensation, personal injury, and commercial healthcare markets. This role blends market research, market analysis, business development, and operational execution.


As a key partner across Sales, Operations, Payor Relations, Compliance, Marketing, and IT, you’ll shape how new markets are entered, built, and scaled. *Candidates must reside in Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR metropolitan area. This is a hybrid position. We’re excited to welcome local talent or those already planning a move; however, this position does not include relocation support*


What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute market development strategies to open and scale new markets across workers’ compensation, personal injury protection (PIP), attorney, and commercial lines of business.
  • Translate state-specific statutes, regulatory guidance, fee schedules, and payor behavior into market-specific business strategy. 
  • Lead market entry planning that accounts for downstream revenue cycle readiness, including intake, authorization, billing, adjudication, payment, and appeals workflows.
  • Monitor end-to-end revenue cycle processes that reduce denials, improve payment velocity, and maximize reimbursement.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Payor Relations, Compliance, and IT to ensure aligned execution from order closure to cash.
  • Negotiate strategic partnerships with a focus on growth and profitability.
  • Build process where none exists by creating SOPs, playbooks, escalation paths, and decision frameworks for new and evolving markets.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs tied to revenue realization, operational efficiency, and overall market performance.
  • Represent RS Medical with regulators, attorneys, payors, standards bodies, and provider partners as a commercial and operational leader.
  • Drive continuous improvement in market expansion processes, leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance efficiency and efficacy.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare marketing or business development (durable medical equipment preferred).
  • Demonstrated expertise in workers’ compensation, PIP, or complex commercial healthcare reimbursement models.
  • Proven ability to research, design, document, implement, and scale revenue-related processes across the full revenue lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of claims submission, adjudication, fee schedules, and payor contracting dynamics.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with accountability for outcomes, not just activity.
  • Advanced analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.· Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and data analysis.

Salary Description
$120,000.00 - $170,000.00
