We’re looking for a high-impact Purchasing Specialist to keep materials, equipment, and services flowing—on time and on budget. You’ll be the go-to connection between our internal teams and a specialized vendor network.

Safety is always the priority.

  

What You’ll Do

  • Own the purchasing process from request ? PO ? delivery
  • Source materials, tooling, and services critical to operations
  • Create and track purchase orders in ERP (Great Plains a plus)
  • Communicate timelines and updates to vendors and internal teams

Keep documentation accurate, organized, and audit-ready

Key Responsibilities


Purchasing Execution

  • Review requisitions and issue POs quickly and accurately
  • Track orders and ensure on-time delivery
  • Keep stakeholders informed every step of the way

Vendor Management

  • Build and manage strong supplier relationships
  • Source specialty items and solve supply challenges
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts
  • Maintain backup vendors to keep supply chain strong

Operations & Improvement

  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and support payments
  • Partner with Accounting for smooth procurement flow
  • Identify cost savings and efficiency gains
  • Help improve purchasing processes and controls

  

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of purchasing experience (manufacturing preferred)
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings
  • Solid understanding of purchasing + basic accounting
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (ERP experience a plus)
