Job Summary 

Champion Healthcare Solutions is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Home Patient Specialist to support the processing and coordination of home patient orders. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate order entry, timely scheduling, and professional communication with patients, nurses, dialysis partners, and shipping carriers while maintaining strict patient confidentiality. This role operates in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Order Ownership & Execution 

  • Own the full lifecycle of home patient orders from intake through delivery and completion  
  • Perform accurate, high-volume order entry and ensure all order details are verified  
  • Review and match purchase orders (POs) to patient orders  
  • Manage order pipelines to meet required turnaround times  

Operational Oversight & Coordination 

  • Maintain visibility into all active orders, identifying delays, risks, or gaps  
  • Monitor order activity against inventory and flag potential shortages or constraints  
  • Coordinate with internal teams, patients, and partners to ensure timely execution  
  • Prioritize work based on urgency and patient needs  

Shipping & Issue Resolution 

  • Monitor shipment and delivery status to ensure successful order completion  
  • Track, document, and resolve delivery issues (delays, damages, missed deliveries)  
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders regarding order status and resolutions  

Dialysis Reporting & Performance Tracking 

  • Own dialysis-related reporting, including order volume, turnaround times, and delivery performance  
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to leadership  
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement  

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement 

  • Resolve order discrepancies, missing information, and workflow issues  
  • Escalate critical issues while maintaining ownership through resolution  
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements  

Compliance & Accuracy 

  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality (HIPAA)  
  • Ensure accuracy and quality across all order processing and documentation  

Requirements 

  • Undergraduate Degree preferred or equivalent years of experience 
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills  
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment  
  • Demonstrated professional communication skills (phone & email)  
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills (Excel, data entry, email)  
  • 1-2 years’ experience with Salesforce and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred  
  • Healthcare or medical device experience preferred   
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality standards preferred (HIPPA) preferred
