About the Position
NOVA is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to join our ICF/IID residential program. This position provides nursing and health care services in line with the needs of the individuals we support.
The nurse plays an important role in monitoring resident health, completing nursing assessments, supporting medication and treatment administration, participating as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, contributing to psychiatry clinic, and helping ensure the overall well-being of residents.

Primary Responsibilities
- Complete nursing assessments and monitor resident health needs
- Support medication administration and treatment oversight
- Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, families/guardians, and team members as needed
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
- Assist with psychiatry clinic coordination and follow-up
- Monitor changes in condition and help ensure timely medical follow-up
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation
- Support staff education related to resident health needs, medications, and treatment plans
- Promote resident safety, dignity, independence, and overall quality of care
Qualifications

- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Good clinical judgment and attention to detail
- The ability to work collaboratively with direct support staff, managers, providers, and treatment team members
- A compassionate, patient, and professional approach to care
Required:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license
Preferred:
- One year of experience in a residential treatment facility, ICF/IID setting, behavioral health setting, long-term care, or similar healthcare environment
