You’ll love coming to work every day if you get, want, and have the capacity to:
- Perform benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, open enrollment, and communicating benefits information to employees
- Perform payroll administration, including compiling and entering payroll data such as garnishments, insurance, and 401(k) deductions, polling electronic time clocks, processing and reviewing changes, conducting bi-weekly payroll, and generating various payroll reports
- Assist with 401(k) administration including changes and payroll submissions
- Interview, screen and recruit job applicants to fill entry-level, professional and technical job openings
- Partner with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations
- Conduct new-hire on-boarding and orientation process
- Maintain all employee and applicant documentation as dictated by governing agencies
- Maintain human resource information system records and compile reports from the database
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
To be considered for this position an applicant must possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in management or business-related field
- 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources role
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn the HRIS
While performing duties the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
