Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to provide in-depth technical expertise with a focus on increasing operating efficiencies through continuous improvements across all departments within the organization and commissioning of new projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and implement corrections for mechanical, electrical, and/or procedural gaps and deficiencies preventing teams from achieving operational goals and run rates.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting skills and techniques to solve complex issues.
- Develop and conduct training across maintenance, operations, and leadership teams to increase operating efficiencies.
- Assist with commissioning new equipment and/or project installations.
- Assist with the development and writing of SOP’s across all company departments.
- Work closely with Maintenance and Operations teams to develop and implement best practices.
- Serve as a cross functional team member to provide assistance where needed.
- Attend all required meetings and company provided training.
- Expected to adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP and HACCP guidelines, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.

Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing operations, process improvement, engineering support, or technical project implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process-related issues.
- Experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience developing work instructions, SOPs, and technical training materials.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS or maintenance management systems.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Must be willing and able to work across all shifts and departments as needed to support troubleshooting, commissioning activities, and operational improvement initiatives.
Salary Description
$27.60 - $32.50 commensurate with experience
