  • Monitor work progress, provide technical guidance, and assist technicians in troubleshooting and completing repairs
  • Partner with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize maintenance activities, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with 1st and 3rd Shift Maintenance Leads to ensure smooth transition of open work orders, projects, and equipment issues between shifts
  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical controls, mechanical, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime during 2nd shift operations
  • Troubleshoot and support PLC-controlled equipment, including I/O, sensors, VFDs, HMIs, safety circuits, and motor control components
  • Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs on industrial power systems, including 120-480 volt single- and three-phase circuits
  • Analyze equipment failures to identify root causes and implement long-term corrective actions
  • Complete preventive and predictive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime
  • Troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery, heating elements, motors, temperature controllers, and pneumatic systems
  • Read, interpret, and apply electrical schematics, control drawings, and technical documentation
  • Perform limited mechanical repairs including belts, pulleys, bearings, and gear-driven components as needed to support operations
  • Support maintenance projects and equipment installations while coordinating resources across shifts
  • Follow all lockout/tagout procedures, electrical safety standards, and safe work practices
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, maintenance processes, and team effectiveness
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues involving dust collection systems, CNCs, extruders, pneumatic systems, plumbing, and basic building upkeep

---------------------------------------------------------------------

What You Bring:

  • 5 or more years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance and electrical controls within a manufacturing environment
  • Previous leadership, lead technician, mentoring, or team coordination
  • Ability to assign work, provide direction, and hold team members accountable while maintaining a collaborative team environment
  • Advanced experience troubleshooting electrical controls systems, including PLCs and related components
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, control panels, wiring methods, and electrical schematics
  • Proven experience working with PLC platforms, VFDs, HMIs, sensors, safety circuits, and motor controls
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose root causes of complex equipment and automation failures
  • Working knowledge of lockout/tagout, electrical safety standards, and industrial safety programs
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and equipment reliability
  • Self-directed, dependable, and comfortable working independently, including during off-shift hours when required
  • Ability to pass a background check

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience leading maintenance projects, continuous improvement initiatives, or reliability-focused programs
  • Journeyman-level electrical training, certification, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with PLC platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, or similar) and industrial networks
  • Exposure to robotics, automated production lines, or machine safety systems
