Summary/Objective


We are hiring Seasonal Utility Staff from August through October at a pay rate of $20.00 per hour. This flexible, guest-focused role supports seasonal operations across multiple departments and is ideal for individuals who are dependable, adaptable, and ready to contribute wherever business needs are greatest. 


Depending on business demand, employees may be assigned to one or more of the following areas:


Clean equipment, rides, vehicles, booths, facilities, and grounds to established standards. 

Complete projects such as trail maintenance, weeding, deep cleaning, and painting. 

Clean hotel rooms and bathrooms to established housekeeping standards. 

Wash, fold, and distribute linens to assigned properties. 

Sell merchandise and tickets and deliver exceptional guest service in retail locations. 

Maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management consistent with TRMF values. 

Promote events and services by providing guests with enthusiastic and accurate information. 

Perform other related duties as assigned. 


Schedule and Assignment Expectations


Schedules may vary based on business needs and may include weekends, evenings, and holidays. 

Employees may be assigned to one or more departments and should be prepared to support different operational areas as needed.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities


Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. 

Reliable, punctual, and prepared for each shift. 

Ability to meet guests’ needs and provide exceptional service to internal and external guests. 

Ability to learn procedures, rules, and regulations for assigned work areas. 

Ability to perform a variety of job responsibilities across departments. 

Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability. 

Ability to follow cleaning, sanitation, and safety standards in housekeeping and laundry areas. 

Ability to handle merchandise, complete assigned retail tasks, and deliver outstanding guest service. 

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced seasonal environment. 


Required Education and Experience


High school diploma or equivalent required. 

Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry, retail, food and beverage, grounds, or other customer service-related work is preferred, but not required. 

Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license if required by the assigned position. 

Must be fluent in English; bilingual skills are a plus. 



Work Environment


This position operates in a variety of indoor and outdoor work settings depending on assignment, including lodging areas, laundry facilities, retail locations, food and beverage outlets, recreational areas, maintenance spaces, and outdoor grounds. Employees may work in changing weather conditions and in fast-paced guest service environments. 


Physical Demands


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

Ability to move throughout the facility and assigned work areas quickly and safely. 

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials throughout the shift. 

Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at a time. 

Must be able to perform duties that may involve handling cleaning supplies, linens, merchandise, tools, or equipment. 


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel items, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
