Meritec is seeking a skilled setup professional to join our manufacturing team in Painesville, Ohio. This is not simply an operator position—we are looking for someone who can independently perform die setups, machine changeovers, feed adjustments, and troubleshooting in a high-speed progressive stamping environment.

Available Schedules
First Shift
Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Second Shift
Monday-Friday, 3:15 p.m. – 11:45 a.m. Includes shift differential.
Shift placement will be discussed during the interview process based on business needs and candidate preference.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for technicians who have independently performed progressive die setups and machine changeovers—not individuals whose experience is limited to machine operation only.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of progressive die setup experience.
- Experience performing independent die setups and machine changeovers.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and setup documentation.
- Experience using micrometers, calipers, comparators, and other precision measuring tools.
- Ability to work independently and make setup adjustments to achieve quality and production goals.
