Description

Valiant Residential is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support high-volume onsite recruiting across a multi-state property portfolio. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, and guiding candidates through the full hiring lifecycle for property operations positions, while partnering closely with regional leaders to support muti-state staffing needs across 150+ communities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, brings strong sourcing and follow-up discipline, and understands the urgency of recruiting for onsite, customer-facing, and maintenance-focused roles.


Note: This position requires 100% in office presence at Valiant Headquarters (75 & Walnut Hill Ln in Dallas)


What You’ll Be Doing


• Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume onsite property operations roles across a multi-state portfolio, including Community Manager, Assistant Community Manager, Leasing, Maintenance, Make Ready, Grounds, Housekeeping, and other onsite support positions.

• Partner closely with Regional Community Supervisors, Community Managers, and other regional leaders to understand staffing priorities, role requirements, market challenges, and urgency of open positions.

• Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to clarify position needs, compensation expectations, property-specific challenges, ideal candidate profiles, and recruiting strategy.

• Proactively source active and passive candidates through job boards, resume databases, referrals, social media, local market outreach, networking, applicant re-engagement, and talent pipelines.

• Screen, interview, and assess candidates for role alignment, experience, communication style, service mindset, technical qualifications, culture fit, and long-term potential.

• Manage a large requisition load across multiple properties, hiring managers, and markets while prioritizing urgent business needs and maintaining consistent candidate follow-up.

• Create and maintain strong candidate pipelines for recurring onsite roles, hard-to-fill positions, new property onboarding needs, and high-priority markets.

• Maintain strong candidate communication throughout the hiring process to reduce no-shows, improve interview attendance, maintain engagement, and support offer-to-start conversion.

• Coordinate interviews, gather timely hiring manager feedback, drive next steps, and help create accountability throughout the selection process.

• Leverage recruiting data and ATS reporting to monitor aging requisitions, source effectiveness, time-to-fill, candidate conversion, interview activity, offer acceptance, and offer-to-start outcomes.

• Conduct weekly new hire orientation and deliver a welcoming, organized, and engaging onboarding experience that introduces new employees to Valiant’s culture, policies, values, and expectations.

• Coordinate job fairs, hiring events, market-specific recruiting campaigns, and community networking opportunities to support current and future staffing needs.

• Ensure recruiting, selection, offer, background, onboarding, and documentation practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and internal hiring standards.

• Gather feedback from candidates, new hires, and hiring managers to identify opportunities to improve the recruiting and onboarding experience.

• Assist with additional Talent Acquisition, HR, onboarding, reporting, process improvement, and employee engagement projects as needed.


What You’ll Bring


· Experience managing high-volume recruitment across multiple locations and markets, with the ability to prioritize urgent openings while maintaining candidate quality and hiring manager communication.

· Proven ability to source passive and active candidates through job boards, resume databases, referrals, social media, local market outreach, and talent pipelines.

· Ability to consult with hiring managers, drive timely feedback, set recruiting expectations, and create accountability throughout the hiring process.

· Demonstrated ability to manage candidate communication at scale, reduce interview no-shows, maintain candidate engagement, and improve offer-to-start conversion.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration or a related field is preferred.

· 2+ years of high-volume recruiting experience preferred; experience supporting multi-site, field-based, hourly, property management, hospitality, retail, staffing, or service-industry roles strongly preferred.

· Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, particularly to support candidate communication across diverse onsite property teams and markets.

· Demonstrated ability to manage a large requisition load across multiple hiring managers, locations, and markets while maintaining urgency, organization, and candidate quality.

· Proven sourcing experience using job boards, resume databases, referrals, social media, local networking, and applicant re-engagement strategies.

· Strong hiring manager partnership skills, including the ability to conduct intake meetings, set expectations, request timely feedback, and influence hiring decisions.

· Experience managing candidates through the full hiring lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer process, background screening, onboarding, and start-date readiness.

· Ability to use recruiting data to track aging requisitions, source effectiveness, time-to-fill, candidate conversion, interview activity, and offer-to-start ratios.

· Strong attention to detail and ATS discipline, including timely candidate dispositioning, accurate requisition updates, and compliant documentation.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with shifting priorities, urgent openings, and frequent communication with field leaders.
