The Opportunity
Onsite Safety is seeking an Area Field Manager to lead the technicians and day-to-day field operations of an assigned market. This is a hands-on leadership role with regular field presence and responsibility for team development, staffing and field readiness, safe and quality execution, customer relationships, and the overall operating condition of the market. The successful candidate will stay connected to technicians, jobsites, and customers; recognize issues early; follow through on priorities; and work closely with regional leadership and other departments to keep the market operating effectively.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, develop, and hold field team members accountable for safety, quality, productivity, professionalism, and company expectations.
- Maintain a regular presence in the field and stay connected to technician performance, jobsites, customers, and market conditions.
- Monitor staffing, workload, technician availability, and field capacity and respond to changing operational needs.
- Ensure technicians complete required training, certifications, career-path development, ride-alongs, quality checks, and coaching.
- Promote safe, high-quality field execution in accordance with Onsite Safety, customer, manufacturer, and applicable OSHA standards.
- Maintain the readiness of company vehicles, tools, equipment, supplies, inventory, warehouse facilities, and other market assets.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with builders, superintendents, customers, and other field partners.
- Communicate market conditions, risks, staffing or resource needs, and unresolved issues to regional leadership.

What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership, supervisory, or field-leadership experience.
- Experience coaching, developing, and holding team members accountable.
- Valid driver’s license with 3 years of verifiable driving experience and ability to meet company fleet requirements.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, team-building, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage changing priorities and follow through in a fast-paced field environment.
- Proficiency with mobile technology, GPS, documents, spreadsheets, and operational applications or reporting systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience in construction, safety services, field operations, or a related industry.
- Previous experience leading field technicians or distributed field teams.
- Additional applicable safety, equipment, or industry certifications.
Work Environment and Time Requirements
This is a full-time, salaried, exempt field leadership position requiring regular travel throughout the assigned market and periodic travel outside the market based on business needs. The Area Field Manager works in active construction, warehouse, office, and outdoor environments and must be able to:
- Work in all seasons and weather conditions.
- Work at various heights and use ladders or other access equipment when properly trained and authorized.
- Lift, carry, load, and unload up to 55 lbs.
- Safely operate company vehicles, power tools, and other field equipment when properly trained.
- Work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or additional hours when operational or customer needs require.
- Meet all applicable Onsite Safety, customer, OSHA, fleet, and jobsite safety requirements.

Salary Description
[$50,000]–[$52,000] yearly. Actual compensation may vary based on market location and the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.
