Hill Vision Services is a lively and fast-paced surgeon's office that specializes in providing patients with the latest in treatment options. We are currently looking for a caring and enthusiastic Call Center Representative (CSR) to join our team. 


We are a busy Ophthalmology practice with offices in multiple locations, including Lake St. Louis. Our team members are the backbone of our practice and are who make the patient experience exceptional. We have an immediate opening for Call Center Representative (CSR) in our Lake St. Louis location. This position is responsible for providing the highest level of communication and service to all patients, surgeons, affiliate staff, managers, and colleagues. All duties are subject to change.

General Responsibilities

  • Telephone management
  • Scheduling of appointments
  • Responsible for telephone and call direction
  • Scheduling Responsibilities
  • Chart creation/assembly
  • Demographics and data entry
  • Spot-check patient demographic data entry
  • Log errors to identify patterns and trends
  • Checking insurance eligibility
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing clear and accurate information.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions through data entry into our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system while ensuring data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues efficiently and escalate concerns appropriately for swift resolution.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills by actively listening to customer needs and providing tailored solutions that enhance their experience. 


Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Stable work history in a medical/surgical practice for at least 5 years and a strong insurance background
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and mentor employees


ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • MUST have exceptional phone etiquette
  • Must have proficient computer skills
  • Must be able to answer calls in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects at one time accurately and efficiently

  • Must have excellent communication skills, proper grammar and writing capability

  • Must be familiar with all forms associated with the patient's medical record (paper / electronic)
