Join our dedicated team at our youth behavioral health facility as a PRN Behavioral Health Technician.   • PRN shift ( as needed for call outs)

 

  • Monitor and supervise youth in a crisis setting to ensure safety and well-being 
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulations
  • Cook and serve meals. Follow the facility menu as posted.
  • Responsible for completing items listed on the facility Chore Sheet as directed by the administrator.
  • Responsible for assuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
  • Daily chart documentation
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for youth, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
  • Follow facility policies, procedures, and confidentially standards at all time.
  • Be familiar with The Wood Group’s policy and procedures to include employee handbook.

Requirements

 

 

  •  High school diploma or equivalent required 
  •  Must be 21 years of age
  • Additional training in mental health or behavioral support preferred
  •  Prior experience working with youth or in a mental health setting is advantageous
  •  Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  •  Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
  •  Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
  •  Basic knowledge of crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
  •  Able to work every other weekend  is required
Salary Description
$16.00 per hour
