Requirements

  SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Monitor all shipments after they have been loaded onto a truck.
  • Confirm carriers are on time for scheduled deliveries.
  • Confirm that deliveries have occurred as scheduled.
  • Secure proof of delivery for all shipments.
  • Save and maintain proof of delivery documents in the designated company folders or systems.
  • Maintain logistics tracking tools with accurate confirmation of delivery updates.
  • Communicate shipment delays, delivery issues, or carrier concerns to the Logistics Supervisor, Coordinator, or Manager.
  • Assist the Logistics team with timely communication so delays can be addressed with Sales and customers.
  • Once brokerage processes begin, assist with setting carriers up on tracking software.
  • Contact dispatchers as needed to track trucks and routes to pick up or delivery locations.
  • Perform additional logistics administrative tasks based on business needs and the employee’s experience level.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to shipment tracking and delivery confirmations.
  • Duties, responsibilities, and requirements may change based on business needs.

Specific Skills & requirement

  • Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Adobe Acrobat/PDF tools.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow up clearly and professionally.
