Your Impact 

As a Senior Accountant on our Audit team, you’ll play a key role in serving nonprofit organizations that are making a difference in our communities. You’ll lead audit engagements, support the development of staff, and provide insights that help clients operate with confidence and clarity. This is an opportunity to deepen your expertise in nonprofit accounting while building strong client relationships and contributing to meaningful work.


How You Will Add Value 

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of nonprofit audit engagements from start to finish
  • Perform and review audit fieldwork in accordance with GAAS, GAAP, and Uniform Guidance (as applicable)
  • Prepare and review financial statements and related disclosures
  • Research and apply technical accounting and auditing guidance, particularly within the nonprofit space
  • Develop and mentor staff, providing hands-on coaching and feedback
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, serving as a reliable and responsive resource
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the client experience

 What We’re Looking For 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of public accounting audit experience (nonprofit experience preferred)
  • CPA license or actively pursuing
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and auditing standards; particularly in nonprofit reporting
  • Familiarity with IRS Form 990 preparation, or a willingness to learn
  • Proven ability to multitask between multiple engagements and deadlines
  • Clear, professional communication skills with a client-focused mindset
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Interest in continuous learning and using technology to improve efficiency
