Position Overview

The Creative Strategy Manager is responsible for elevating LTDG’s consumer-facing brand experience and positioning the company firmly within the lifestyle, plant, and home decor space. This role blends brand strategy, creative direction, content planning, campaign development, and partnership exploration to shape how LTDG shows up across retail, digital, social, email, and consumer touchpoints.


This person will use cultural research, trend insights, consumer behavior, competitive analysis, and brand strategy to build a cohesive and aspirational identity across all brand expressions. Working closely with the Art Director and creative team, the Creative Strategy Manager will help define campaign concepts, guide digital storytelling, strengthen B2B and B2C communication, and create systems that move the brand from product-focused marketing into true lifestyle brand territory.


Position Objectives

  • Move LTDG from product-focused marketing into a stronger lifestyle brand position.
  • Build a clear brand strategy that informs B2C storytelling and elevates B2B communication.
  • Lead planning and execution for B2B, B2C, and boutique email marketing.
  • Develop brand systems, creative briefs, and marketing tools that clarify direction for the creative team.
  • Influence product marketing, packaging, campaign messaging, and retail storytelling for a cohesive consumer experience.


Specific Accountabilities


Brand Strategy and Positioning

  • Develop and maintain clear consumer-facing brand positioning for LTDG.
  • Translate consumer insights, cultural trends, market research, and competitor analysis into actionable brand strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen audience connection through lifestyle storytelling, product education, visual inspiration, and emotional relevance.


Campaign and Content Strategy

  • Develop campaign concepts, messaging direction, email themes, and creative briefs across B2B, B2C, boutique, social, and digital channels.
  • Ensure email, social, paid media, retail marketing, and sales tools work together as one cohesive brand story.


Creative Direction and Brand Systems

  • Partner with the Art Director and creative team to define visual strategy, photography direction, campaign storytelling, and consumer-facing creative concepts.
  • Ensure creative work connects back to consumer insights, product relevance, retailer needs, and overall brand positioning.
  • Create and maintain brand toolkits, guideline libraries, campaign frameworks, and creative briefs that support consistent execution across teams.


Market Research and Opportunity Development

  • Build insight reports that identify opportunities, gaps, emerging behaviors, and positioning advantages.
  • Use research findings to guide content planning, campaign development, product marketing, packaging, and retail storytelling.

Requirements

  

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Brand Strategy, Communications, Design, Advertising, or a related field preferred.
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in brand strategy, creative strategy, marketing, content strategy, advertising, or a related creative marketing role.
  • Experience developing campaigns, content calendars, email marketing plans, or brand communication systems.
  • Experience working with creative teams, designers, art directors, photographers, or content creators.
  • Strong understanding of consumer-facing brands, retail marketing, lifestyle branding, and digital storytelling.
  • Experience reviewing performance analytics and using insights to improve marketing strategy.
  • Strong writing, presentation, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across digital, retail, social, email, and campaign channels.
  • Interest in home decor, lifestyle, plants, gifting, retail, design, and consumer trends preferred.
  • Experience with paid media, influencer marketing, licensing, partnerships, or experiential activations is a plus.

  • Strong visual taste level with an understanding of art direction, photography, layout, and retail presentation.
  • Experience with digital marketing, paid media, social content, email marketing, and campaign planning.
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance and connect creative decisions to business results.
  • Strong research skills, including trend tracking, competitor analysis, consumer insights, and market audits.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with creative, sales, product, and marketing teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to organize timelines, priorities, and cross-functional needs.
  • Ability to identify partnership, influencer, licensing, and experiential marketing opportunities.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
