DevResults Training Specialist (Part-Time, 1099)

Description

The CJEP DevResults Implementer Trainer will support the Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) through the provision of training on the ‘DevResults’ monitoring platform, a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) software platform used to capture, manage, and analyze foreign assistance data. This position will support the DevResults program by delivering targeted training, instruction, and technical assistance to INL implementers, ensuring they can accurately and efficiently input performance data into the system. Through structured trainings, follow-on coaching, and user support, the role will help build user proficiency, address reporting challenges, and contribute to improved data quality and system adoption across INL projects. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • This position is expected to be a part-time requirement on an as-needed basis for trainings required to be delivered. 
  • Deliver as-needed virtual DevResults trainings to INL implementers, covering system navigation, report template completion, and submission process in accordance with established training protocols. 
  • Provide tailored coaching and troubleshooting support to users, including follow-on assistance for implementers experiencing challenges after initial trainings. 
  • Ensure implementers input complete and accurate performance data into the DevResults system by reinforcing best practices and guidance during trainings. 
  • Assist in maintaining the scheduled sessions, communicating with implementers, and distributing training material and follow-on resources. 


Requirements
  • Full professional proficiency in English (and in particular, professional proficiency to talk about performance monitoring, data, indicators, and database tools). 
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills. 
  • While prior DevResults experience is not required, it will be preferred. Appropriate training and familiarization with the platform will be provided upon Onboarding. 
  • Employed in their respective lines of work (DME, M&E, Program Analysis, Performance Monitoring…) or be recently retired/separated within the last 5 years. 
  • The ability and willingness to train other individuals in their area of expertise.
  •  Unblemished background 
  • The ability to maintain (at a minimum) an MRPT clearance. 
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in international relations, law enforcement, public policy, or a related field. 
  • Five (5) to nine (9) years’ work experience. 
  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience within field of expertise as required by INL.
