The Business Partner serves as a strategic Human Resources partner, providing guidance and consultation to leaders on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, compliance, investigations, and Human Resources operations. This position partners with operational leadership to promote consistent employment practices, ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, improve operational processes, and support organizational initiatives that enhance employee engagement and business performance. 


Leadership & Business Partnership 

  • Manage the priorities and workload to ensure timely completion of assignments and operational objectives.  
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to operational leaders by providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, employment policies, and best practices.  
  • Collaborate with the Business Partner Manager to establish departmental priorities, employee goals, and strategic initiatives.  
  • Participate in cross-training within the Business Partner team to ensure business continuity and operational effectiveness.

HR Operations & Process Improvement 

  • Implement, and maintain Business Partner procedures, forms, templates, and operational documentation.  
  • Assist with the implementation of Human Resources initiatives and policy changes.  
  • Support organizational restructuring efforts, acquisitions, and special projects as assigned.  
  • Participate in the development of Company policies and continuous improvement initiatives.  
  • Remain current on employment law, HR best practices, and industry trends. 

Department Administration 

  • Maintain Human Resources forms, templates, communications, policies, and standard operating procedures.  
  • Assist the Business Partner Manager with departmental projects and organizational initiatives.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Management, or a related field.  
  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.  
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.  

Experience 

  • Three (3) or more years of progressive Human Resources experience.  
  • Experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, employment law, and Human Resources operations.  
Requirements
  •  Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, coaching, and communication skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. 
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. 
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), reporting tools, and Human Resources technology. 
  • Ability to utilize HR technology and AI-enabled tools to improve workflow efficiency, documentation quality, communication, and operational effectiveness while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity. 
Salary Description
$60,000 - $70,000
