As a Wind River Environmental Dispatcher, you'll be responsible for routing WRE vehicles and ensuring our customers receive excellent service.
Schedule:
- Tuesday – Saturday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Note: There is potential for overtime shifts as available, and each team member is required to work one holiday shift per year.
Rate of Pay: $20.50 - $22.50 per hour
Location Requirement:
This is a remote role; however, the employee must reside within 25 miles of one of our branch locations in the following states: Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia
Employees must continue to reside within the required distance of a branch location throughout their employment in this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to work a rotating schedule that includes partial weekends
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision
- Responsible for working closely with Wind River Environmental customers and technicians to resolve customer, fleet and other issues that occur
- Must have a passion for serving our customers
- Develop routes and maintain contact with technicians throughout their scheduled work hours
- Collaborate with team and management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of our customers
- Act as a communication liaison and answer incoming calls from technicians on the road
- Cultivate strong relationships with technicians and customers to reduce stress that comes with last minute schedule changes
- Monitor any sudden route changes or road construction issues and work with technicians to establish new routes for timely service
- Manage all shift emergencies and dispatch on-call technicians accordingly
- Perform and complete special projects and meet deadlines as assigned by the Central Dispatch Supervisors

- Ability to understand instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to read and interpret documents including Company policies and procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, maps and road signs
- Ability to speak, cooperate and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and management
- Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to learn and gain expertise in a variety of computer-based systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Education and Experience
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of two years’ experience in route planning or logistics
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $20.50 - $22.50 per hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
