The San Francisco Conservatory of Music seeks a highly organized, collaborative, and proactive Part-Time Coordinator to support the Professional Development and Engagement Center (PDEC). This position plays an essential role in supporting student career development initiatives, departmental operations, community engagement programs, events, data tracking, and administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative and Operational Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative support for PDEC programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, communications, and logistics for departmental activities.
- Maintain organized records, databases, and digital filing systems.
- Assist with project management and tracking of departmental priorities and deadlines.
- Support event planning and execution for workshops, networking events, guest speakers, auditions, and special programs.
Budget and Financial Administration
- Assist with budget tracking, reconciliation, and expense reporting.
- Process invoices, purchase requests, reimbursements, and other financial documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and provide budget-related reports as requested.
- Support departmental financial planning and resource management.
Reporting and Data Management
- Collect, organize, and analyze program data and participation metrics.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for departmental leadership.
- Track student engagement, program outcomes, and assessment measures.
- Support grant reporting and documentation when applicable.
Communications and Stakeholder Engagement
- Draft and distribute departmental communications to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and external partners.
- Serve as a responsive and professional point of contact for inquiries related to PDEC programming.
- Coordinate outreach efforts and maintain strong working relationships across the Conservatory community.
- Support marketing and promotional efforts for programs and events.
General Departmental Support
- Assist with special projects and new initiatives as assigned.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and student-centered departmental culture.
- Provide flexible support across PDEC functions and help address emerging priorities as needed.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth execution of departmental goals and activities.
- Attend weekly departmental meetings and summarize meeting minutes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with budget tracking, financial administration, or expense management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Adobe, Canva, Paylocity, and database systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies.
