We are seeking a faith-filled, highly organized, and technology-savvy Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our parish team. In this key support role, you will help advance the mission of our parish by providing exceptional administrative support and operational guidance to the Pastor, staff, and other parish leaders.
Schedule:
20 hours per week Tuesday - Friday, approximately 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence, document preparation.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems.
- Coordinate communications with parish staff and leaders, parishioners, local community, diocese offices, and vendors.
- Create professional reports, presentations, flyers, newsletters, and promotional materials using Microsoft 365 applications, graphic design software, and digital communication tools.
- Assist with parish communications, including print, email, website, and social media content as assigned.
- Support special projects, software implementations, and other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Strong administrative assistant skills with proven experience in a fast-paced office environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to organize competing priorities while managing multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including “Word,” “Excel,” “ Outlook,” “PowerPoint” and “Teams”; proficiency with “Publisher” or comparable desktop publishing and graphic design software is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
