Location: Greater Orlando, FL
Compensation: $23 - $32 hourly based on experience and certifications obtained
Schedule: Day Shift Position Monday - Friday with Flexibility for weekends and on-calls.
Position Summary
The Service Plumber is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and replacing plumbing systems for residential customers and light commercial businesses. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to educate customers on repair options while delivering honest, high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues quickly and accurately.
- Repair and replace water heaters, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, hose bibs, shut-off valves, and fixtures.
- Repair leaks in water, drain, and sewer piping.
- Clear drain stoppages using professional drain cleaning equipment.
- Perform sewer camera inspections and identify plumbing system issues.
- Install customer-approved plumbing repairs and replacement equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems.
- Minimum 3 years of residential plumbing service experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Experience servicing water heaters (tank and tankless), fixtures, drains, sewer systems, and residential plumbing equipment.
- Excellent customer communication and relationship-building skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work independently while managing a daily service schedule.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined areas.
- Plumbing license or certifications are a plus but not required.
- Backflow certification is a plus.
