What You'll Do:
- Welcome every guest with warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
- Assist the host or hostess with seating guests and maintaining a smooth flow of service.
- Present menus, answer questions, and provide knowledgeable recommendations on food, beverages, wine pairings, and menu preparation.
- Develop a strong understanding of our menu offerings, daily specials, wines, and key ingredients to confidently guide guests in their selections.
- Deliver attentive, professional service that enhances each guest’s dining experience.
- Accurately process payments and maintain compliance with all cash handling and financial procedures.
Requirements
Must be available to work a flexible schedule including Weekends and/or Holidays.
- Shift consists of Breakfast and Lunch Service. 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity
- Previous guest service experience is required.
- Cash handling experience is preferred.
- Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.
- Works to resolve disagreements and is respectful of guests and co-workers.
- Hearing, writing, typing.
- Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Must be licensed to serve alcohol.
- Must possess unexpired or obtain an Indiana Server permit within 14 days of employment.
