Fleet Manager
Location: Houston, TX (IAH Area)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday with occasional evenings and weekends as operational needs require.

Position Summary
The Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s fleet operations, ensuring all vehicles are safe, compliant, and operating efficiently. This role manages vehicle maintenance, regulatory compliance, vendor relationships, fleet costs, and driver support to ensure uninterrupted service to our customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the company fleet, including vans, trucks, and specialty vehicles
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance with outside vendors and service providers.
Monitor vehicle inspections, registrations, permits, and licensing requirements.
Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.
Maintain accurate fleet records, maintenance logs, and expense reports.
Track and manage fuel usage, vehicle performance, and operational costs.
Investigate vehicle incidents and coordinate insurance claims when necessary.
Partner with Operations and Human Resources regarding driver qualifications and training requirements.
Monitor fleet utilization and recommend strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Assist with budgeting and long-term fleet planning, including vehicle replacement schedules.
Respond to operational emergencies and provide after-hours support when needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of fleet management experience.
- Experience managing commercial vehicles and maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management software.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in an office and warehouse environment.
- Ability to inspect vehicles and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to travel between company locations as needed.
