 Job Title: Craftsman – MultifamilyDepartment: Construction Reports To: Superintendent / Assistant Superintendent FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Location: Jobsite-Based Position SummaryThe Craftsman is a skilled member of the construction/renovation team responsible for executing a wide range of construction and finish carpentry tasks within multifamily renovation projects. This role requires proficiency with hand and power tools, attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality, consistent results.  Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Labors

  • Interior demolition and waste      removal
  • Installation of doors, baseboard      and casing
  • Installation of door and bathroom      hardware (Door knobs, towel rings etc.)
  • Installation of blinds
  • Touchup/punch work involving      painting, caulking, cleaning etc. 
  • Operation of      forklifts/telehandlers

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all company safety      policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free      jobsite and work area at all times.
  • Properly use personal protective      equipment (PPE).
  • Immediately report unsafe      conditions, incidents, or damaged equipment.

Professional Conduct

  • Maintain a positive and      respectful attitude with team members, subcontractors, residents, and      inspectors.
  • Follow instructions from      supervisors and work collaboratively with the project team.
  • Represent the company      professionally at all times.
  • Ability to be given a task and      follow through till its completion with minimal oversight. 
Requirements

 QualificationsRequired

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Reliable transportation to job sites.
  • Willingness to follow safety procedures and jobsite rules.
  • Strong work ethic and dependability.
  • OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Telehandler operation certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to handle hand and power tools with safety and precision 

Preferred

  • Previous experience with installation of trim carpentry
  • Ability to speak both Spanish and English
  • Previous experience with construction in multifamily developments 

Physical Requirements

  • Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting for extended periods.
  • Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and dust.
  • Dexterity to operate tools and equipment safely.

Work Environment

  • Active multifamily construction sites.
  • Exposure to loud noise, dust, uneven terrain, and heavy equipment.
  • Standard work schedule with possible overtime based on project needs.
