Wave Dental Specialists – Atlanta is seeking a motivated and compassionate Full-Time Hygiene Assistant to join our growing specialty practice in the heart of Buckhead. As a Hygiene Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our hygienists and doctors while helping provide an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist hygienists with patient care and clinical procedures
• Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms between patients
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
• Take dental radiographs 
• Update patient records and chart information accurately
• Assist with iTero scans and digital imaging as needed
• Ensure operatories are fully stocked and organized
• Provide outstanding customer service while helping patients feel comfortable throughout their visit
• Support the clinical team with additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Current Georgia Dental Assistant certification/license required
• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting or hygiene assisting experience
• Experience with Open Dental software preferred
• Experience with iTero digital scanners preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude with a strong commitment to teamwork and patient care
