Responsible for coordinating, preparing, reviewing, and closing Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Small Business Administration (SBA) loan transactions. Ensures all closing requirements are satisfied, collateral is properly perfected, loan documentation is accurate, and transactions comply with bank policy, regulatory requirements, and approved loan terms.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Coordinate and manage the closing process for C&I and SBA loan transactions from approval through funding.
• Review loan approvals, commitment letters, and credit documentation to ensure all closing conditions have been met.
• Prepare and review loan closing packages for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with approved loan structures.
• Facilitate communication among lenders, borrowers, attorneys, title companies, and other third parties to ensure timely closings.
• Coordinate commercial real estate closings, including review of title commitments, surveys, insurance, and closing documentation.
• Review, verify, and perfect various forms of collateral, including:
o Commercial and residential real estate
o UCC collateral filings
o Deposit accounts
o Stock and investment account collateral
o Life insurance assignments
o Equipment and other business assets
• Ensure proper lien perfection and collateral documentation in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and file UCC financing statements, amendments, continuations, and terminations.
• Review organizational documents, authority documentation, and legal opinions for business entities.
• Verify compliance with SBA loan program requirements and documentation standards.
• Coordinate loan funding and boarding activities with operations and accounting teams.
• Maintain complete and accurate loan files and collateral records.
• Resolve documentation exceptions and post-closing issues in a timely manner.
• Support internal and external audits, loan reviews, and regulatory examinations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years of commercial loan closing experience, preferably with C&I and SBA lending.
• Strong understanding of commercial loan documentation, collateral perfection, and closing processes.
• Experience coordinating commercial real estate loan closings preferred.
• Working knowledge of SBA lending requirements and procedures preferred.
• Experience with loan documentation systems such as LaserPro preferred.
• Experience with core banking platforms such as Fiserv preferred.
• Knowledge of UCC filings, lien perfection, title review, and collateral management.

• Working knowledge of commercial title insurance, escrow processes, and real estate closing practices.
