We’re looking for a motivated, compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing team!


Schedule & Perks

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • Clinics close at 2 PM every Friday
  • Up to 200 hours (5 weeks) PTO annually

Key Responsibilities

  • Room patients, take vitals, and update medical histories
  • Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection
  • Administer injections and medications as ordered
  • Triage patient calls (urgent vs. non-urgent needs)
  • Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-ups
  • Communicate with pharmacies for prescriptions and refills
  • Document accurately in the EHR/EMR (eClinicalWorks)
  • Educate patients on care plans and next steps
  • Travel between Konza clinic locations.
Requirements
  1.  High school diploma or equivalent. 
  2. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent healthcare education, training, or military medical experience. 
  3. Minimum of one (1) year of direct Medical Assistant experience required for applicants without formal Medical Assistant education. 
  4. Current CPR certification for Healthcare Providers

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA)
  2. Minimum of one (1) year of experience administering medications, treatments, and immunizations. 
  3. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a primary care setting. 
  4. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). 
  5. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
