RN Administrative Supervisor(House Supervisor) PRN (As needed) Nights
Description

PRN Night position responsible for the supervision of nursing departments and patient care; indirect responsibility for ancillary support departments within an assigned shift. Coordinates and maintains the level of quality of patient care expected by Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center (SPRHC). Serves as one in authority and responsibility during assigned shifts assuring staffing schedules are appropriate for patient care, direct patient care is appropriate and related decisions in the completion of assigned tasks.


Pay Range: $50.83 per hour

Requirements

Minimum Required Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required. Five years of previous healthcare experience. One year of long-term care work experience is preferred. Previous work experience in a supervisory role is preferred.


Licenses or Certificates: Current Colorado driver’s license. Valid state license as an RN. Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification. Must attain and maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS). Completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support and/or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course and Trauma Nursing Core Course.


Pre-Employment Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:

• Knowledge of CMS regulations in relation to Critical Access Hospital and long-term care facility.

• Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities an to prioritize scheduling of work.

• Ability to complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner.

• Ability to operate general office equipment including computer software applications (e-mail, surveillance equipment/cameras).

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of personnel management including conflict management skills, behavior modification methodology and documentation skills regarding performance management.

• Ability to handle difficult situations involving staff, patients, family members and physicians, or others in a professional manner.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the public, other agencies, employees and administration.


Note: An acceptable combination of education, training and experience that provides the above knowledge, abilities and skills may be substituted.


Necessary Special Requirements: Must obtain annual flu and Covid vaccination and any job-specific immunizations. Required to submit to a tuberculosis screening process.


Unusual Demands: Work is subject to recurring and inflexible deadlines and frequent interruptions.
