What You’ll Do:

The HR Recruiting and Retention Specialist is responsible for attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent for all business units while supporting onboarding and employee engagement initiatives. 

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned positions including but not limited to customer service representatives and technical positions
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and hiring timelines
  • Create and post job advertisements on job boards, social media, and company career sites.
  • Source candidates through online platforms, networking, referrals, career fairs, and community partnerships.
  • Administer pre-employment assessments, background checks, reference checks, and employment verifications
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate applicant records in the Applicant Tracking System
  • Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, applicant sources and hiring effectiveness
  • Partner with department leaders to ensure successful employee integration
  • Analyze turnover trends and recommend improvement initiatives
  • Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Coordinate employee surveys and communicate action plans based on feedback
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information
  • Assist with HR projects, policy implementation, and process improvements
  • Maintain accurate personnel and recruiting records
  • Prepare reports and HR Metrics for leadership

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
  • Ability to work with a team and build relationships with the HR team, hiring managers and employees
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR Technology
  • Recruiting experience in Indeed and LinkedIn
