Job Summary
The Retail Lead Partner supports daily retail operations at Rock City Gardens by providing front-line leadership, supervising partners, and ensuring exceptional guest service. This role assists with operational execution, merchandising, cash handling oversight, and partner training while maintaining a positive, high-performing team environment.
The Retail Lead Partner serves as a key support to leadership and helps ensure consistency, efficiency, and a guest-focused experience across all retail locations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Support
- Lead the Rock City Gardens Retail team in accordance with the Culture of Excellence and operational goals.
- Provide day-to-day supervision of partners in the absence of the Team Leader.
- Assist with partner training, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and register usage.
- Communicate scheduling concerns and staffing needs to the Team Leader or Retail Operations Manager.
- Proactively manage labor during changing business needs.
Guest Experience & Service
- Deliver excellent guest service in all aspects of retail operations.
- Model appropriate guest and partner interactions at all times.
- Support a welcoming, professional environment that reflects Rock City Enterprises’ mission and values.
Retail Operations & Merchandising
- Assist the Team Leader with merchandise ordering and tracking sales and damages.
- Work collaboratively to ensure merchandise is attractively displayed and shops are clean, organized, and well stocked.
- Support efforts to achieve favorable per-cap spending through visual presentation and guest engagement.
Cash Handling & Compliance
- Perform cashier duties as needed.
- Monitor cash handling procedures to minimize shrink and loss.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed and enforced consistently.
General Responsibilities
- Perform all duties associated with Rock City Gardens retail operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred, or currently pursuing.
- Four to six months of related retail, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong guest service and sales-oriented mindset.
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests, partners, and leadership in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Ability to read, analyze, and respond to operational and business-related information.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using U.S. currency.
- Basic computer and point-of-sale skills preferred.

Licenses & Availability

- Regular use of hands and fingers to handle merchandise and operate a cash register.
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
