About the Position


Imprimus Labels & Packaging is seeking an experienced Print Coordinator to support a key strategic customer in the Santa Clarita, CA area.


This highly customer-focused position coordinates print and packaging projects from initial request through production and final delivery, working closely with customers, vendors, and internal manufacturing teams.


We are specifically looking for someone with extensive experience in print management who can successfully manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with internal or external print management in flexographic or lithographic print technologies. Proven success with managing complex print projects including dynamic timelines and priorities. Experience managing multiple jobs in a fast paced print environment including but not limited to order entry, specification management, proofing, lead times, vendor management, change management, priority shifts, and logistics.


This position will primarily work remotely from a home office but must be located within a reasonable commuting distance of Santa Clarita, CA. Frequent in-person meetings with customer and vendor contacts in the Santa Clarita area are required. Occasional travel to our Brea, CA manufacturing facility will also be required.


What You'll Do

  • Coordinate customer print projects from initial request through production and final delivery.
  • Serve as a primary day-to-day liaison between the customer and internal and external teams.
  • Coordinate product launches, new SKUs, transitions, artwork changes, material changes, and other customer-driven initiatives.
  • Coordinate artwork and prepress activities, including proofs, revisions, specifications, approvals, and customer sign-off.
  • Work closely with external vendors, internal contacts, and customers to ensure timely execution of a fast-paced and complex print program.
  • Track project timelines, open orders, production schedules, inventory, and delivery commitments.
  • Proactively identify potential delays, production issues, or other risks and communicate them to the appropriate parties.
  • Coordinate rush requests and expedited orders while balancing customer expectations with manufacturing capabilities and lead times.
  • Work with Planning and Production regarding capacity, materials, tooling, scheduling, and delivery requirements.
  • Support customer inventory programs, forecasts, anticipated demand, and shipment releases.
  • Coordinate with Quality on customer complaints, corrective actions, credits, and resolution.
  • Research and resolve order discrepancies, delivery issues, pricing questions, specification concerns, and other customer issues.
  • Facilitate customer, vendor, and internal project/status meetings.
  • Maintain accurate project, order, account, and customer documentation.
  • Identify recurring service or operational issues and work cross-functionally on continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Operations, Graphic Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in print coordination or print management in flexographic or lithographic printing is required.
  • Experience specific to pressure-sensitive label printing or flexible films printing is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating multiple customer projects from development through manufacturing and delivery.
  • Working knowledge of print/manufacturing workflows, including artwork/prepress, materials, production scheduling, quality, expediting, and logistics.
  • Experience supporting large, complex, multi-location, or strategic customer accounts preferred.
  • Domestic and international logistics experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn ERP, CRM, estimating, artwork, and manufacturing systems.
  • Bilingual English/Mandarin preferred but not required.

  • This is a remote/home-office position based near Santa Clarita, California; it is not a work-from-anywhere position.
  • Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Santa Clarita.
  • Be available for frequent in-person customer and vendor meetings in the Santa Clarita area.
  • Have reliable transportation for required local business travel.
  • Be available for occasional travel to our Brea, CA manufacturing facility.
  • Maintain a professional home-office environment with reliable internet and telephone connectivity.
  • Be available and responsive during established business hours.
  • Attend customer visits, vendor meetings, company meetings, training, or other in-person activities as business needs require.
