Job Description
Resicum International, LLC. is seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanic II – Avionics personnel to support MH-60R/S aircraft Organizational-Level Maintenance operations at NAS Key West, Florida.
Aircraft Mechanic II Avionics personnel perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, removal and installation, testing, and modification of aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
Mechanic II personnel must be capable of troubleshooting aircraft discrepancies, interpreting technical documentation, and performing moderate to complex MH-60R/S avionics maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on MH-60R/S avionics systems.
- Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repair, servicing, testing, and modifications.
- Troubleshoot aircraft electrical and avionics discrepancies.
- Perform avionics component removal and installation.
- Interpret aircraft wiring diagrams, schematics, technical manuals, and technical publications.
- Use aircraft-specific avionics test equipment.
- Troubleshoot aircraft electrical power and avionics systems.
- Perform authorized electrical and avionics testing.
- Apply technical knowledge to isolate system and component malfunctions.
- Restore avionics systems and components to required operating condition.
- Support aircraft inspections.
- Make required aircraft logbook and maintenance record entries.
- Support Technical Directive Compliance.
- Support corrosion prevention and control.
- Support aircraft movement and flight-line operations.
- Support aircraft detachments as required.
- Support SAR maintenance operations when directed.
- Support CDI requirements.
- Participate in emergency drills and aircraft movement or salvage operations when directed.
- Perform all work in accordance with applicable Navy maintenance procedures, technical manuals, technical directives, and local instructions.
Specific MH-60R/S Experience — REQUIRED
- Must have direct hands-on aircraft avionics maintenance experience applicable to MH-60R/S aircraft.
- Must have experience performing Organizational-Level aircraft avionics maintenance.
- Must have experience troubleshooting aircraft electrical and avionics discrepancies.
- Must have experience interpreting aircraft wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical publications.
- Must have experience using aircraft avionics test equipment.
- Must have experience performing avionics component removal, installation, inspection, and testing.
- Generic avionics experience without applicable aircraft maintenance experience does not satisfy the specific experience requirement.
Additional Requirements
- Must possess a current U.S. Passport.
- Must possess and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Must be eligible for required site access and CAC issuance.
- Must possess aircraft avionics maintenance experience appropriate to the Mechanic II skill level.
- Must have working knowledge of aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
- Must have experience troubleshooting aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
- Must have experience using aircraft-specific avionics test equipment.
- Must have experience interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Must be capable of troubleshooting moderate to complex avionics maintenance problems.
- Must be capable of prioritizing workload and meeting maintenance schedules.
- Must be capable of making accurate aircraft logbook and maintenance record entries.
- Must maintain required aircraft maintenance qualifications and certifications.
- Qualifications may include CDI, Plane Captain/Plane Handler, electrical/avionics-related qualifications, Ordnance, Forklift, and other qualifications applicable to assigned duties.
