San Rafael, CA | Mercedes-Benz | Luxury brand | Inventory Manager | Lot operations | Title | DMS | Marin County | Bay Area | Veterans encouraged to apply | $20 - $25/hr

IS THIS YOU?

• You're organized, detail-oriented, and take pride in keeping a lot running accurately -- inventory records, vehicle flow, and title documentation are always where they should be

• You have dealership inventory, lot operations, or title experience and you understand the pace and precision this role requires

• You're looking for a stable, hands-on role at a prestigious Marin County Mercedes-Benz store where your reliability and accuracy directly support the sales and service operation

WHO WE ARE

Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.

Mercedes-Benz of Marin is an award-winning luxury dealership in San Rafael serving one of the most discerning guest bases in the Bay Area. Every vehicle on this lot represents the Mercedes-Benz standard -- and the Inventory Manager is the person who keeps that lot organized, accurate, and market-ready at all times.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage all new and pre-owned inventory on the lot -- vehicle location, status, and availability tracked accurately in the DMS at all times

• Coordinate incoming vehicle deliveries -- receiving, inspecting, and processing new inventory from transport and OEM allocation

• Manage title and registration documentation for all inventory -- ensuring clean title flow and compliance with California DMV requirements

• Monitor inventory aging, turn rates, and lot positioning -- surfacing relevant information to sales and leadership to support pricing and acquisition decisions

• Coordinate with the service department on pre-delivery inspections and reconditioning workflow for incoming stock

• Support trade-in processing and pre-owned vehicle intake -- ensuring accurate records from point of acquisition

• Assist with auction activity and vehicle acquisition coordination as directed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Dealership inventory, lot operations, or title experience preferred -- candidates with transferable organizational and administrative backgrounds encouraged to apply

• Strong DMS proficiency preferred -- Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK experience a plus

• California DMV title and registration knowledge a significant advantage

• Highly organized and detail-oriented -- inventory accuracy at a luxury store is non-negotiable

• Reliable, self-directed, and able to manage multiple moving pieces without losing accuracy

• Clear communicator who works effectively across sales, service, and external vendors

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

WHAT WE OFFER

$20 - $25/hr

• Medical, dental, and vision insurance

• Life insurance and supplemental coverage options

• Paid time off and paid holidays

• Career growth -- inventory and lot operations experience at a luxury dealership opens doors into title, office, and operations leadership roles at Swickard

• Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts

• A stable, active role at one of Marin County's most established and respected luxury dealerships

WHY MERCEDES-BENZ OF MARIN

• An award-winning Mercedes-Benz store in one of the most affluent counties in California -- the inventory operation here runs to a high standard because the guests and the brand demand it

• A stable, active role where your organizational precision directly supports the sales team's ability to move vehicles and the store's overall performance

• Marin County is a close-knit, high-quality-of-life community where reliability and professionalism are recognized and valued

• Swickard is one of the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country -- ranked Top 5 in North America for reputation in the automotive industry

• Our HEART values -- Honor, Engage, Anticipate, Respond, Thank -- apply to every role on the team, not just the ones facing guests

If you're organized, accurate, and ready to keep a high-standard luxury lot running at its best in one of the Bay Area's most prestigious automotive markets -- we'd like to meet you.
