Mathnasium is hiring friendly, patient people who like working with kids to join our team as Math Instructors. Perfect for high schoolers, college students, or anyone semi-retired looking for flexible, meaningful part-time work.

The details:

• 2 shifts/week, afternoons and weekends
• $15.50–$18.50/hour
• In-person at Mathnasium of Barrington
• Full paid training — you don't need teaching experience, just solid math skills

What you'll do:

• Teach 2nd–12th grade students 1-on-1 and in small groups using the Mathnasium Method
• Help students build confidence and actually get math, not just memorize it
• Track student progress and communicate with your Center Director
• Keep the learning environment safe, welcoming, and fun

What we're looking for:

• Comfortable with math through at least Algebra I
• Friendly, patient, and genuinely enjoys working with kids
• Reliable and able to commit to 2 shifts a week
• Eager to learn — we'll teach you the rest
