DESCRIPTION
- Own whole-vehicle validation for body exterior systems: closures, sealing, water management, wind noise, lighting, and fit-and-finish
- Define validation strategies for extreme environmental exposure, corrosion, high-mileage durability, and high-pressure car wash conditions
- Establish validation routes, environmental chamber profiles, and aero/vibration scenarios for door closures, liftgates, glazing, and wiper/washer systems
- Support cross-functional alignment across Body Exterior, Closures, Sealing, Lighting, Electrical, Manufacturing, and Vehicle teams
- Develop vehicle-level test cases and translate exterior targets into test procedures, instrumentation strategies, and validation plans
- Lead validation campaigns and evaluation trips to proving grounds, public roads, and extreme climate regions
- Drive test execution and data collection using leak detection systems, thermal sensors, strain gauges, and accelerometers
- Ensure requirement-to-test traceability using tools such as Code beamer, Jama, or Jira; document results and sign-offrecommendations
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Human Factors/HCI, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- 4+ years of experience in whole vehicle validation, full-performance testing, and vehicle-level verification testing
- Hands-on experience with CANoe, INCA, and validation instrumentation for vehicle network and sensor data
- Experience defining whole vehicle test plans (DVP) and tracking build/software changes across vehicle fleets
- Working knowledge of ALM/product tracking tools: Jama, Polarion, DOORS, MagicDraw, or Codebeamer
- Solid understanding of whole vehicle development phases and automotive-specific safety standards
- Experience testing complete vehicle systems for automotive-grade compliance and industry regulations
