The Role at a Glance:
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role will assist in the monthly close process, prepare general ledger account reconciliations, assist in compilation of supporting documents for yearly audit and tax preparation, and perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
How You’ll Create Greater Impact:
- Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations of general ledger accounts in a timely manner
- Assist with month end close, including compiling and analyzing financial information
- Support year end audit and tax requests
- Ensure compliance with Company internal controls, including documentation and testing of controls
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes
- Work collaboratively with cross-function departments
- Support business needs in assisting with special projects, ad hoc reporting, and strategic analysis as requested
- Other duties as assigned

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience
- Hands-on US GAAP accrual experience
- Excellent organizational skills combined with strong attention to detail
- Comprehensive knowledge of Excel as well as other Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, or similar ERP systems experience a plus
- MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred but not required.
- Experience in a manufacturing and/or CPG environment preferred
This is a hybrid position; with an expectation of being on-site in our Salem, NH office (HQ) as required.
