Precision Electronics Assembler I

Reports to: Manufacturing Supervisor / Manufacturing Operations Director

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Purpose

Assemble and test Lake Shore Sensor products to meet high quality and performance standards, 

ensuring manufacturing processes are followed and quality objectives are achieved. 

Scope

This role follows established assembly, inspection, test, and manufacturing procedures with 

supervision. Work is often routine and follows production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and 

customer satisfaction. 

Essential Functions/Primary Job Responsibilities

• Perform assembly of electrical parts and products with assistance or direction.
• Read and follow work instructions.
• Test products during and after final assembly.
• Work with chemicals safely and properly, including disposal.
• Ensure equipment calibrations are up to date and chemicals expirations are within parameters.
• May require interaction with ERP system to ensure inventory and job accuracy.
• Check materials to ensure product quality (cosmetic, functional, etc.).
• Achieve an average of at least 70% efficiency on all assigned products after initial onboarding process and new product training.
• Maintain utilization at a level of 85% or greater.
• Consistently achieve proficiency on all assigned products as measured in the manufacturing competency matrix.

Preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in assembly.
