Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years experience in heavy bridge construction means and methods. They should be able to demonstrate leadership skills and possess an outgoing personality. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of bridge/heavy civil construction, including erection techniques, rigging, cranes, jacking operations, and temporary works. - 10+ years of experience in construction engineering and heavy bridge construction means and methods.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Washington, Oregon, and or California with the ability to obtain additional licenses as required.
- Exemplary leadership skills, including strong teambuilding capabilities.
- Licensed Structural Engineer is beneficial.
- Steel Bridge and Industrial construction experience is essential.
- Degree in Civil or Construction Engineering is required.
- Advanced knowledge of crane / lifting operations and rigging.
- Site experience working with the structural ironworker trade.
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external clients (oral, written, and presentations).
- Must be eligible to work in the US. Eligibility to work in Canada would be advantageous.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a combination standard office, field office, construction site, and hybrid / home environment. KWH is willing to work with all employees on a work environment that allows them to excel.
- Subject to standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting of objects up to 55 pounds; may occasionally be exposed to dangerous machinery, extreme weather conditions, physical harm, hazardous chemicals, and extreme noise when conducting site visits.
