Description

Assist Receiving personnel as a fill in when needed

Load and unload trucks as needed

Check staged parts for accuracy before loading

Note packaging variations on pick ticket if different than quoted packaging

Use shipping schedules for reference

Pick, scan, relabel, shrink wrap, and stage shipments

Cycle count inventory as requested

Contain and process defective product from finished goods and shipments to containment area as instructed

Assist in training other shipping techs as needed

Work with all departments to ensure timely delivery of quality product

Verify counts, weights, and measure against bill of lading, invoices, orders, and other records

Compute number of cartons and returnables received; Inventory of returnable usage and track from each customer

Keep detailed records of what is received and outgoing and submit as applicable

Use of FIFO in handling components, resin, WIP, and finished goods

Document forklift discrepancies on Form F-0502 and submit to maintenance

Identify and initiate any continuous improvement activities

Maintain housekeeping throughout the area of responsibility in the plant

Must work to all safety policies and goals of the company

Understand the quality system as it relates to your function in ISO/IATF 16949

Maintain and wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required

Assist with inventory when applicable


Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. (ability to read and minimal mathematics)

Must be able to work with and understand part numbers

Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Ability to communicate well with others and maintain a positive attitude

Ability to lift up to 40 LBS 

Must be able to pass a written and driving forklift test

Must be able to work multiple shifts and overtime as needed to meet internal and customer requirements

Attendance must be in good standing

Knowledge with material shippers, packing slips, bills of lading, invoices, misc delivery paperwork, and loading and unloading trucks 

Must complete a new employee orientation (if applicable)

Perform all other duties as the company may require
