Description


• Restock dairy and frozen foods, ensuring all products are placed according to store layout and merchandising standards. All products must be faced, filled, and organized.

• Rotate products to ensure freshness and remove expired or damaged items.

• Maintain neat and well-organized shelves, freezers, and displays.

• Provide knowledgeable and friendly service to customers, answering questions and offering recommendations on dairy and frozen food products.

• Assist customers in locating products.

• Ensure dairy and frozen food displays are visually appealing, well-stocked, and properly labeled.

• Check product quality regularly to ensure only the best products are available for customers. Review "sell by" dates and take appropriate action.

· Ensure cleanliness of dairy/Frozen cases, storage area, and work area for safety. 

• Organizes back-stock area; cleans, sweeps & operates baler, compactor & other machines.

· Review and Inspect invoice when orders are received for accuracy of shipment.

· Walk department to make sure it is organized, sanitary and clean.

· Builds end caps displays and fills through the week as necessary.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

· Clean/dust shelves and all products, make sure floors are free of spills or water and sweeping any debris from floor.


Qualifications:

· Previous retail or grocery experience preferred.

· Strong communication and customer service skills.

· High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.

· Food Handling/Safety Certification- Preferred but not required.

· Ability to lift products and work in refrigerated/freezer environments.

· Basic math skills and attention to detail.

· English proficiency; Spanish is a plus!

· Must be 18 years of age or older.

· Able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

· Reliable transportation required

· Non-slip shoes required for safety (not provided)

  • Ingredient Handling: Ability to work with a wide variety of fresh ingredients without allergic reactions.
  • Physical Endurance: Capacity to stand for long periods, lift heavy items (up to 80 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment.
