What You'll Do
- Assist senior-level engineers in analysis and design related to shallow and deep foundations, slope stability, seepage, bearing capacity, settlement, earth retention, and earthen embankment dams.
- Perform field work such as construction observation, subsurface investigations, materials testing, and inspections during construction.
- Record detailed geotechnical subsurface exploration data according to the firm’s standard procedures.
- Assist the geotechnical team in performing engineering analyses and in the preparation of technical memoranda and geotechnical engineering reports.
- Production of deliverables is expected to be on time, within budget, and of the highest quality, in accordance with firm standards.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university with an emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Beginning to intermediate level computer skills in AutoCAD and Windows-based applications preferred.
Bonus Points If You Have
- FE/EI certification and some practical work experience; eagerness to pursue professional licensure.
- A desire to master the basics of geotechnical design and analysis.
- A strong ability to build great working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Possession of valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 20% of time.
