Senior Project Manager — Residential Development Practice Area

WithersRavenel is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our growing Residential Practice Area! Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex residential development projects from planning through construction.
- Prepare, review, and authorize project agreements including scope, schedules, fees, and subconsultant contracts.
- Monitor project financials and proactively navigate scope changes, scheduling shifts, and billing needs.
- Oversee and approve technical deliverables such as designs, construction plans, bid documents, and cost estimates.
- Mentor and coach project team members to support their professional development.
- Ensure adherence to company standards, QA/QC requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Foster strong collaboration and communication across departments to achieve project and organizational goals.
- Strengthen existing client relationships and support strategic business development efforts.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive, professional experience, with significant leadership in project delivery and client management.
- Professional licensure preferred
- Recognized as an industry expert/leader in Practice Area and across company disciplines
- Strong business development record, including growing major accounts.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop emerging leaders and influence organizational culture.
- Strong reputation in the industry through civic, community, or professional engagement
Working Conditions
The assignment may require infrequent evening/weekend work. Candidates should enjoy working in collaborative, fast-paced, and client-driven environment.
Physical Requirements
The assignment may occasionally require repetitive physical tasks (such as operating a computer), standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, extended time travelling in a vehicle, and carrying equipment and materials up to 25 pounds.
