Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Our team safely recovers, inventories, and distributes quality automotive parts that help keep vehicles on the road. 

Position Summary 

We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Automotive Parts Technician to join our team in York, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for an automotive technician or mechanic who enjoys hands-on work and prefers working outdoors instead of being confined to a repair shop. 

The ideal candidate will have automotive experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities 

• Remove quality automotive parts from cars, trucks, and SUVs 
• Pull and inventory parts including:  
• Body panels 
• Suspension components 
• Steering components 
• Brake systems 
• Cooling system components 
• Interior parts 
• Electrical components 
• Other reusable automotive parts 
• Inspect parts for quality and resale condition 
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently 
• Follow work orders and locate vehicles throughout the yard 
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment 
• Meet daily productivity goals while maintaining quality standards 

Note: This position does not involve removing engines, transmissions, or complete axle assemblies. 

Qualifications 

• Automotive repair, mechanical, or automotive technician experience preferred 
• Ability to identify vehicle components and understand basic vehicle systems 
• Experience using hand and power tools 
• Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Valid driver's license preferred 

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions 
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting 
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Pay & Benefits 

• Competitive starting pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
